President of Russia sent greetings to participants of SPILF 2025

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent greetings to the participants, organizers and guests of the 13th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum 2025, the main theme of which this year is ‘The Law: Lessons of the Past for the World of the Future’. The address is posted on the Kremlin website.

In his greeting, the head of state noted that the Forum traditionally provides an opportunity to discuss a wide range of topical legal issues related to the development of international relations, improvement and harmonisation of national legal systems.

“Today, amidst an actively emerging multipolar world order, one of the top priorities is to fine tune global governance institutions and collective security mechanisms so that they meet the demands of the time and work for the benefit of progress and prosperity. Such work should be based on positive historical experience and a mutual willingness to understand and take into account the lessons of the past,” emphasized Vladimir Putin.

The Russian President noted that only joint efforts can create a space of trust and cooperation based on the principles of equality of state sovereignties and respect for the cultural specificities of all peoples.

In conclusion, Vladimir Putin wished the participants and guests of the Forum fruitful discussions and professional success.
