The development and improvement of integration processes among enforcement bodies of foreign states to be discussed at SPILF 2025

A roundtable titled ‘Developing and Improving Integration Processes among Enforcement
Bodies of Foreign States in a Multipolar World’ will take place on 20 May 2025 as part of the 13th St.
Petersburg International Legal Forum.
The discussion will touch
on Russia’s experience with court bailiffs, first established as an
institution 160 years ago, and international experience with compulsory
enforcement.
Roundtable participants
will discuss integration processes within international associations,
identify best practices in the professional sphere and priorities for the
development of modern enforcement models, and identify where international
cooperation is leading in this modern world of global change.
“State bodies are constantly being renewed and
improving their activities as social relations change with great speed. And an important
part of modernizing enforcement is studying the experience of our foreign
colleagues,” Director of the Federal Bailiffs Service Dmitry
Aristov said.
Aristov noted that as we establish and
strengthen international cooperation, we learn about best practices and get to
see the principles underlying the Russian institution of compulsory enforcement
and the enforcement bodies of foreign states from a different point of view.
The Forum is being organized by the Roscongress
Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian
Federation.
The 13th St. Petersburg International
Legal Forum is being held in St. Petersburg from 19 to 21 May.
