SPILF 2023 Participants and Guests to Enjoy Over 120 Events

The business programme of the 11th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum has been published. It will include business sessions, roundtables, open talks, presentations and much more. Lawyers from various fields will be able to exchange opinions on the most important issues of modern law. Discussions will cover a variety of topics, including Russophobia and discrimination against compatriots abroad, protection of national interests, family values and, of course, current trends in international relations.

“Our task today is to develop, in partnership with countries prepared for constructive and equal dialogue, universal measures to protect national interests and prevent increasing tendencies to interfere in the internal affairs of states. Adaptation of existing international legal mechanisms to the new multipolar system of the world order is required. Strengthening the sovereignty of states by legal means is undoubtedly of paramount importance in this work. That is why the theme of the Forum will be ‘Sovereignty in Law’,” said Russian Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuichenko.

SPIEF 2023 participants will talk about building an independent economy under sanctions; legal regulation of Internet journalism; space and the space economy in the context of Russia's sustainable development; and legal safeguards for national security in the light of contemporary threats.

“SPILF is to welcome its guests with a rich business programme of more than 120 events. In the current unstable situation, only the law can stabilize the world. Respect for the sovereignty of each country, non-interference in its world order – this is the key to success, this is what our country is striving for,” emphasized Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.

The 11th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will take place in on 11–13 May. The youth programme will open the Forum on 10 May.
