Concerts, exhibitions, shows and go tournament. What awaits SPILF 2023 participants beyond business programme?

In 2023, the 11th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will bring together specialists from various fields of law and representatives of Russian authorities to discuss sovereign law and strategies of legal protection of Russian business interests in the context of changing rules of international interaction.

In addition to the extensive business programme, SPIEF 2023 will present its cultural and sports programmes that will enable participants to fully enjoy the beauty of St. Petersburg in May and shift the focus from the topical to the beautiful.

For example, the Forum will traditionally include the ‘St. Petersburg Seasons' Festival of Culture. The programme will allow guests and participants to visit the Peterhof State Museum and Reserve, the State Museum of the History of Religion, Catherine Palace at Tsarskoye Selo and the Russian Museum of Ethnography.

In addition, concerts at the Stroganov Palace of the Russian Museum and the Shostakovich St. Petersburg Philharmonic will elegantly complement the museum, theatre, and exhibition components of the Festival. The pearl of the cultural programme will be the evening cocktail reception of the first day of the Forum. At the reception, the Mariinsky Theatre opera stars will perform for SPILF participants.

“The cultural and sports programme of the Roscongress Foundation’s business events is a great responsibility and challenge for the Forum organizers. After all, the informal agenda sets the tone and mood of the whole event, serves as the basis for creating a communicative space of trust and opens up new opportunities for all participants to communicate and implement projects,” said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the SPILF Organizing Committee.

For sport enthusiasts, the Mind Sports Lounge will be open all days of the Forum, offering masterclasses and chess, go and checkers tournaments.

The 11th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will take place in St. Petersburg from 11 to 13 May. The Forum is organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and the Roscongress Foundation.
