10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum Cultural Programme Released

In addition to the extensive business programme on offer, guests and participants of the 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will also be treated to an equally rich and entertaining cultural programme.

The St. Petersburg Seasons Festival of Culture, which is taking place as part of SPILF 2022, will bring together a great number of art exhibitions, musical concerts, and theatre productions on the stages and in the museums of St. Petersburg’s leading cultural institutions.

“St. Petersburg is an amazing city. Even if you’ve come here for a business event, it’s impossible to ignore the city’s cultural life. That’s why we’ve prepared a diverse cultural programme with a large number of events,” Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum Anton Kobyakov said.

The St. Petersburg Seasons Festival of Culture will feature an Art Cocktail at the Mariinsky Theatre, where participants and guests of the Forum will be invited to enjoy one of the legendary theatre’s marvellous productions. Participants will also have an opportunity to take in a world-class performance by the St. Petersburg State Theatre of Musical Comedy.

Forum participants will likewise be provided with the opportunity to feast their eyes on exhibitions at the State Russian Museum, the State Museum of Political History of Russia, the Manege Central Exhibition Hall, and the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg.

Participants will be able to listen to timeless classics at the Shostakovich Philharmonic in St. Petersburg and will be treated to original interpretations of tunes from Broadway plays and Hollywood films that have gone on to become standards and taken their places in jazz history. The beautiful tunes will be served up at the St. Petersburg Jazz Philharmonic.

The unique exhibition “St. Isaac’s Cathedral – Temple of Peter the Great”, timed to coincide with the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter the Great, will also be on offer to Forum participants. At the exhibition, visitors will learn about the history of the first St. Isaac’s, built and consecrated in honour of Peter the Great’s patron saint.
