Exhibitors
HSE Faculty of Law

The Law and Art stand is presenting three unique projects created by the HSE Faculty of Law together with the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts, and the Lenfilm film studio. Paintings from the Pushkin Museum’s collection provide a glimpse into the world of secrets and legal meanings in the Law in Painting project. The Law in Cinema project presents some of our favourite stories about Sherlock Holmes from a new angle – through the lens of law and augmented reality technologies. Finally, the Law in Plays project depicts theatrical masterpieces in an unexpected way and shows how law has shaped the fates of various heroes and eras. Each project is an invitation to see how law and art jointly create a space for new ideas

Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation

The Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation presents the latest scientific research in various fields of law and legislation. The works of the Institute’s researchers are inextricably linked with key events in the life of the Russian state and society.

In 2025, a major event in the legal community’s academic life was the release of an illustrated album dedicated to the institute’s century-long history. This unique publication continues the traditions of legal science studies, replenishes the series of the institute’s historical and legal studies, documents numerous facts related to the development of Russian legal science, and serves to preserve historical memory and the continuity of scientific research.

The following monographs will also be presented: ‘Doctrinaire Foundations of the Practice of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation’ (2nd edition), ‘Law in the Realities of the Technological Revolution’, and ‘Comparative Constitutional Law’.

As it has in the previous three years, the Russian Federal Bailiff Service’s specialized exhibition at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will feature a large LED screen that displays information about the Federal Bailiff Service’s activities to preserve and strengthen family values.

Considering the large extent to which enforcement services use information technologies in their work, the Federal Bailiff Service’s exhibition provides visitors with online access to the service’s main information resources, such as the database of enforcement proceedings and the personal accounts of parties to enforcement proceedings on the State Services portal.

In addition, visitors to the stand can find out in real time whether they owe any debt as part of enforcement proceedings and pay it if necessary.

One unique solution this year will be the opportunity to see a virtual image of the chatbot Polina in the format of a 3D model.
