Falsification of history is an important tool of the West in the mental war unleashed against Russia. It is aimed at manipulating its citizens and undermining the unity of the peoples of Russia. The task of protecting historical memory and preserving traditional spiritual values must be implemented as part of a general strategy to ensure national security and defend the national and governmental interests of Russia on the world stage. As part of the discussion platform, it is planned to address the underlying values of Russian sovereign historical policy (politics of memory), the forms and legal mechanisms of protecting the historical truth, and ways of counteracting the falsification of history.

Born on November 1, 1964 in the Dzhambul Region, Kazakhstan, Alexander Drozdenko graduated from Leningrad Agriculture Institute in 1986 with a degree in the economics and organization of agriculture. He obtained a PhD in Economics in 2007. Between 1988 and 2002, he worked in various positions in the Kingisepp District of the Leningrad Region. In November 2002, Alexander Drozdenko was invited to join the Government of the Leningrad Region and appointed as the Region’s Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Leningrad Region Committee on State Property Management. In May 2012, the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Region, on the recommendation of the President of the Russian Federation, elected Drozdenko as Governor of the Leningrad Region. He was inaugurated on May 28, 2012. On May 12, 2015, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree “On the Early Termination of the Powers of the Governor of the Leningrad Region.” Alexander Drozdenko has been appointed acting Governor of the Leningrad Region. At the pre-term gubernatorial elections in Leningrad Oblast that took place on 13 September 2015 Alexander Drozdenko received the majority of votes. On 30 September 2015 Alexander Drozdenko took office as the Governor.

Born 17 October 1966. Has a degree in Law, as well as in Public and Municipal Administration.
1988: joined Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kamchatka Territory, where she held positions of the Deputy City Prosecutor of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and the Head of Investigation Department in Kamchatka Territory.
Since 1997: won single-member district election to the Council of People’s Deputies of Kamchatka Territory twice.
2007 and 2011: elected Deputy of the State Duma (Member of the United Russia Party). First female Chairperson of State Duma Security and Anti-Corruption Committee in the history of Russia’s parliaments.
2016: headed the regional group №1 of the Federal list of Candidates for Deputy of the 4th State Duma from the United Russia Party (Kamchatka Territory, Khabarovsk Territory, Amur Region, Magadan Region, Jewish Autonomous Region, Chukotka Autonomous District).
In 2016 elected Deputy Chairperson of the State Duma.
According to expert polls, she is one of Duma’s five most efficient Deputies. Authored over 200 legislative acts.
Most memorable acts for the Far East include: ban on drift fishing, ban on multiple border crossing by fishing vessels, compulsory registration of fishing facilities in the region where fishing is held, simplified call at the Far-Eastern ports for international cruise lines.
Head of the Central Control Commission of the United Russia Party.
Member of the Russian Language Arts Society, headed by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Rus.
