Professor Paulsson has practiced and taught in the space of international law and disputes for 25 years. She is the Vice President of the Global Institute for Peace in Sao Paolo, visiting professor at the University of Miami School of Law, strategic advisor with the Economic Development Board of the Kingdom of Bahrain, author of the leading treatise on the 1958 New York Convention - The New York Convention in Action - and Vice Chair of the Bahrain Chamber of Dispute Resolution. She has been a member of the judiciary committee of the international council for commercial arbitration for 15 years for which she has conducted judicial dialogues around the world about international arbitration. She previously practiced in international disputes in Europe and the United States.
