Roscongress Foundation and Synergy Corporation enter into cooperation agreements with legal organizations and institutions

The Roscongress Foundation and Synergy Corporation have entered into three cooperation agreements with the Association of Lawyers of Russia, the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, and Kutafin Moscow State Law University to develop and finalize the business programme of the World of Opportunities International Business Forum to be held in Dubai.

Particular attention will be paid to the development of the legal profession and modern legal science in general. 

The agreements were signed by Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev, President of Synergy Corporation Vadim Lobov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Lawyers of Russia Vladimir Gruzdev, Director of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation and Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Talia Khabrieva, and Rector of Kutafin Moscow Law University Viktor Blazheyev.

The signing ceremony was held as part of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum 2024. 

“The development of the international legal profession is of paramount importance. Strengthening ties in higher education and developing cooperation between organizations in the Russian Federation and the countries of the Middle East and North Africa opens up new opportunities for joint growth. The World of Opportunities International Business Forum, which is held in the United Arab Emirates – Russia’s key partner in the Arab world – serves as an important tool for achieving these goals and helps strengthen international ties and expand the potential for cooperation,” said Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev.

“One of the key tasks of the World of Opportunities International Business Forum is to develop rules for conducting foreign economic activity that are comfortable for all participants. The joint work of legal experts from different organizations and countries will create a favourable environment for companies, investors, and exporters, which will strengthen our country’s relations with partner states,” noted President of Synergy Corporation and Member of the State Council of the Russian Federation Commission on Small and Medium-Sized Businesses Vadim Lobov.

The document also includes guidelines for carrying out legal research into the BRICS economic space and provides for the exchange of proposals based on the practical experience of the Russian Federation’s cooperation with the United Arab Emirates and the BRICS countries, which will take part in the business programme of the World of Opportunities International Business Forum.
