UAE to be first guest country at 13th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum

Russian Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuychenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Russian Federation Mohammad Ahmad Sultan Essa Al Jaber held a meeting at the Russian Ministry of Justice on 18 April 2025.

Konstantin Chuychenko noted that the UAE will be a guest country at the 13th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPILF). This is the first time in the Forum’s history that such a status has been granted to a country.

During the conversation, the two officials discussed details about the participation of the UAE delegation led by UAE Minister of Justice Abdullah Al Nuaimi

at the upcoming SPILF. On the first day of the Forum, the UAE stand, which will become a platform for many legal and cultural events, will hold its grand opening with the participation of the ministers of justice of both countries.

Following the meeting, the ambassador visited the Russian Ministry of Justice’s exhibition ‘Pride, Truth, and Memory’, which is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
