The architecture of the Youth International Legal Forum business programme published
The Youth International Legal Forum will be held on 21 May 2025 in ExpoForum, traditionally as part of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
The Youth Day business programme includes four key tracks. The ‘Professional Development and Career’ track is dedicated to the professional development of practical skills in the work of young lawyers. The ‘Law and Technology’ track will consider the impact of digitalization on the careers and education in law, as well as discuss issues related to the regulation of artificial intelligence. The ‘International Law and Cooperation’ track will cover the topics of legal practice in the BRICS and ASEAN countries, as well as the problems of protecting national interests. The ‘Law and Culture’ track will focus on the importance of law in the formation and preservation of cultural identity.
In addition to the main programme, special format events will be held for the Youth Forum participants. These include an interactive session ‘Forensics PRO’, a congress of representatives of student councils of law faculties of universities participating in the Forum, master classes, and a lecture by Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
The Rosenberg International Student Competition will be held as part of the Forum. It is dedicated to the practice of resolving commercial disputes.
There will also be events at external venues, including the final of the International Writing and Oral Competition dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Spasovich, a legal quiz, and an interactive master class on forensics.
For young lawyers, the Youth International Legal Forum will be an important and useful platform for sharing experience, strengthening professional ties and discussing topical issues of legal profession development in modern conditions.
The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.
